Plain English summary: PDFClip processes all your PDF files directly in your browser. Your documents are never uploaded to our servers. We only store your email address and username when you create an account, and we use Supabase (a US-based provider) to manage that. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't track you across the web.
PDFClip ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website at pdfclip.io.
By using PDFClip you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
When you create a PDFClip account we collect:
We do not collect your real name, phone number, address, or payment card details. Payment processing for Pro subscriptions is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card information.
Your files never leave your device. All PDF processing in PDFClip — splitting, merging, editing, compressing, converting — happens entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. No file content is transmitted to our servers at any point.
For free-tier users, we track a daily operation count (a simple integer) to enforce the 10 operations per day limit. We store:

We use the information we collect solely to:
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose unrelated to providing the PDFClip service.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share limited data only with the following service providers who are necessary to operate PDFClip:

PDFClip is hosted on Vercel's edge network. Vercel may process standard server logs (IP addresses, request data) as part of hosting the service. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
Pro plan billing is handled by Stripe. When you subscribe to Pro, you interact directly with Stripe's checkout. PDFClip does not receive or store your payment card information. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of PDFClip, our users, or the public.
